Description
Crossover training and familiarisation with in-house procedures and software are planned by the out-going head of accounts.

We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

The office hours are Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.30.

Main duties for the role are

  • Enter and allocate all payments, receipts & refunds on Back Office Accounts system
  • Reconcile Bank & Paypal account balances each month.
  • Reconcile Sales, Purchase & General Ledger. Search for and correct any discrepancies/mispostings
  • Submit quarterly VAT returns
  • Submit full Audit Trail, Trial Balance & various other year end reports to the external Accountants
  • Make payments to suppliers as they fall due via RBS Bankline
  • Send monthly payroll information to external Payroll Agent and cross check Payslips before they are issued.
  • Refund online customers for unavailable items via Sagepay & Paypal portals.
  • Manage company pension scheme, assessing eligibility for auto enrolment, join new members and allocate contributions to each employee's pension plan each month
  • Raise management information reports

Salary:
£26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bar One Clothing 69 Lancefield Street Glasgow, G3 8HZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
