At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work.

The regular office hours are 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 - 13:00 on a Friday.

However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.


Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.


Role:


Based in the European Automobile Quality office, Honda Motor Europe (HME) Satellite office, Swindon, your role will be to work as part of a team responsible for the provision of market quality information to assist with Mass production and Aftersales quality improvement activities.

This role will require occasional travel (several times per year) to dealers and Branches within Europe.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Carry out detailed market data analysis in order to clarify the market situation including dealer visits for on the spot analysis. Data sources include warranty claims, Web, Quality, Dealer Technical and Customer Relations systems.
  • Preparing Data and Quality reports to ensure clear understanding of the market situation.
  • Carry out symptom confirmation / inspection on returned vehicle components, using diagnostic tools and fitting the parts to test vehicles.
  • Prepare Service Bulletins to ensure dealers can repair vehicles correctly and right first time.
  • Support for special projects which are carried out within the European Quality Department.
  • Respond to technical requests from European HQ, Distributors and Pan-E Dealer Technical Support.
  • Administration of Quality Reports issued to the European Quality Department.
  • Arranging for return of defective parts from dealers within European market.
  • Monitoring for and investigation of critical and safety related symptoms reported by customers & users.

Qualifications, skills and experience:


Required

  • Highly computer literate and numerate, with experience of databases and data handling with a strong knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of vehicle systems and components is mandatory.
  • Able to easily build relationships within Honda and outside.
  • Customer focussed with previous experience of working within a customer service environment.
  • Capable of gathering and presenting information that accurately represents the market situation.
  • Full Driving License is essential for the role.
