Accounts Receivable Clerk / Poynton - South Manchester / £24-28kOverview**Axon Moore are partnering with an exciting, global manufacturing business with their UK office based in South Manchester. They are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk into the finance team.

The role is to assist the Finance Manager with the day-to-day transnational elements of the accounts function, covering accounts payable/ receivable and general banking tasks.

There is scope to gain more exposure to the month end process.

Shift Pattern/Working Hours
Monday to Friday, with a 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15 minutes per day. A total of 40 hours per week.

Main Purpose Of Job
Front line systems co-ordination linking into financial controls, invoicing, and day to day administration processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Daily processing of customer invoices and credit notes
  • Management of rental database and invoicing processing
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Customer setup and credit checks
  • Reviewing payment terms and standard discounts
  • Exception reporting
  • Daily communications with internal teams relating to order statuses
  • Administration of relevant SOX controls relating to accounts receivable
  • Compiling audit evidence
  • Internal system management
  • Other Ad hoc/project related work

Qualifications:


  • AAT/Bookkeeping qualification desirable
