I am currently Recruiting for an Electrical AP (approved person) for a key client of mine based in Guildford Surrey.

Within this position you will be the main point of contact for all electrical engineer on-site.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance and enforcement of effective maintenance strategies, monitoring, reviewing and analysing performance through the use of the department's estate management system
Managing and supporting operational staff, contractors and colleagues.
Ensuring delivery of the required level of maintenance in line with departmental policy, whilst ensuring delivery of service level agreements for internal customers and other stakeholders
Managing the compliance of the electrical infrastructure
Preparing design and contract documentation and, when required, tender specific items of work in accordance with University procedure.
Monitoring contractors progress reporting as required on performance and value for money. Undertaking projects using the University project system, producing feasibility studies and reports on future projects.
Ensuring the full contractual process is adhered to inclusive of all contract documentation, correspondence, surveying, estimating, accounting, supervision, vetting of payments and project management
Monitoring the performance of all the electrical infrastructure to prepare schedules of future planned capital and recurrent maintenance works

Requirements:

- you'll have around 5 years experience in a similar role
- be competent and qualified to 18th Edition standard,
