If you answered yes, then look no further - XPO Logistics are recruiting We're looking for a full-time, Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver to join us based on our site in Kegworth.

You'll be working as a Yard Shunter on site working from 1800pm to 0600am nights, 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

In return for your hard work, we'll offer you a competitive salary of £15 per hour.

What you'll do on a typical day:

Movement of trailers in the yard on and off the bays
Preparing trailers for loading and tipping.
Regular trailer yard checks to be completed.
Reporting of VOR'ed trailers
Reporting of an H&S issues in the yard
Monitoring H&S and ensuring site rule are adhered to
Adjustment of trailer heights on bay when required.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

Class 1 driver licence LGV / HGV C+E/Class 1 Entitlement on your licence
No more than 6 points, with no DD or DR endorsements present
CPC and Digital Tacho card
Experience in similar role
Good communication skills
Experience using Terberg tug.
Experience using shunter APP beneficial but not essential as training offered.
Successful track record in communication and building relationships.
Able to build and maintain good working relationships.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills to all levels.
Selfmotivated / able to work on own initiative.
Always display a professional and responsible approach to work related activities.
Always demonstrate professional integrity.
Team player.
