Vehicle Technician - The Role
We are looking for a number of Technicians as the demand in our Workshop is increasing at an incredible rate.
Vehicle Technician
- Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles
- Detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the customers complete satisfaction
- Work effectively within the dealership team to ensure industryleading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times
Caravan & Motorhome Technician
- General fault finding and repairs to 12v, mains 230v electrics, plumbing, heating and appliances
- Annual services and habitation checks
- Pre delivery inspections of new and used caravans and motorhomes
- Warranty diagnosis and repairs
- Major carpentry rebuilds and insurance repairs
- Re sealing and damp repairs
- Accessory fits
For example:
Solar panels, motor movers, bike racks, awnings, reverse cameras and tv aerials
Vehicle Technician - What we need from you
We are looking for a good all-rounder, who is punctual, reliable with a desire to produce quality work on time.
You will have and NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance / Service Replacement and / or Level 3 Vehicle Mechanical & Electronic Systems / Maintenance & Repair with a desire to progress within your career.
As a company whose roots are firmly in the delivery of outstanding customer experience, you must be a confident communicator and will be able to communicate effectively with all colleagues and management and strive to attain all productivity and efficiencytargets.
Essential
- City & Guilds minimum part 3 NVQ level 3 (Light Motor Vehicle Repair),
- Own Toolbox and protective footwear
- A good understanding of vehicle layout, function and location of parts
- Knowledge of the retail motor industry and automotive systems generally
- Knowledge of vehicle problems, repairs and warranty procedures and QC's
- Knowledge of National and European regulations, restrictions and legislation relevant to the motor industry
- Full driving licence
Desirable
- Experience of working in a busy franchised environment
- MOT Qualified
