Adult Health Nursing
(9-month, Non-Tenure Track)

Samford University's Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing invites individuals interested in serving in a
upon experience and qualifications. Responsibilities as a faculty member include teaching, scholarly
activity, and service. The individual hired in this position will be responsible for classroom teaching, clinical
supervision, and simulation of undergraduate nursing students in courses with adult health content
including adult health nursing and critical care nursing. The position may be associated with two or more
courses each semester depending on need. The person filling this position must be willing to work days,
evenings, and occasional weekends as need dictates.

An earned doctoral degree in nursing is preferred, however, to qualify for the rank of Assistant Professor a
doctoral degree is required. They must have a minimum of five years of clinical practice experience within
the last 10 years. Previous clinical teaching and clinical supervisory experience with undergraduate
students is preferred.
