Peer Specalist Worker - Wellbeing Centres

£19,666 - £20,010 per year, based on 37 hours per week (pro rata)

26.5 hours per week Incl one weekday evening per week until 20:30

Southdown delivers Mental Health Recovery Services across East Sussex.

Based on the 'Recovery' approach the aim of the service is to improve mental health and wellbeing of people with a focus on prevention, early intervention and developing a greater rangeof opportunities within the wider community.


This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service which supports people to develop tools and techniques to manage their mental health needs.

This role will offer dedicated support across three locations in East Sussex.


Working in partnership with the wellbeing centres, the service will offer group and one on one activities with the objective of improving the health and wellbeing of individuals with a mental health diagnosis.


We are looking to appoint a part time Peer Specialist Worker to work within the Hastings and Bexhill wellbeing centres.

You will have experience of working in a peer support role within a mental health setting. You will be committed to working within a co-productionmodel to develop the service.
