What will I be doing?


As an Assembly Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for assembling and testing Airbus Single Aisle family nose and forestay, main gears, and side stays, all while maintaining a high standard of quality for each component, along with FOD compliance.


You'll work on a regularly rotating shift pattern, covering dayshifts and nightshifts (which include a premium shift payment of 38.5% of your salary).

Occasionally, there'll be options for working bridging shifts and weekend shifts too.


What do I need?
You'll already have Fitting experience from a previous role, ideally in an Aerospace or Automotive environment.


We're looking for someone with:

  • A completed NVQ level 3 Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, or equivalent
  • The ability to follow technical drawings, specs, procedures, and test instructions

Shift information

Shift work will be required on a 4-shift, 4 week rotation.


This will include:

  • Dayshift


  • Nightshift

  • Premium payment 38.5% of salary


  • Bridging shift

  • Premium payment % of salary


  • Weekend shift

  • Premium payment % of salary
