JOB TYPE- Contract- EMP TYPE- Full Time- INDUSTRY- Supply Chain & Procurement- SKILLS- Any- FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE- Procurement- SALARY TYPE- Hourly- SALARY- Negotiable- JOB ID- 74009Skills Alliance are partnered with a global medical device company who are seeking a Logistics Procurement Consultant to assist their team for the next 3-6 months.
This opportunity will be based fully on site then moving to a hybrid setup (3 days on site, 2 days WFH).
Daily rate of 750 EUR - 850 EUR. Location flexible.Key Responsibilities:
- Collect Transportation data (shipment history, spend, volumes, service levels, surcharges, carriers) from various sources (SAP, JDE, Excel reports, directly from carriers)
- Collect Warehousing data (inbound volumes, storage, pallets / boxes / units picking, dispatch)
- Analyze data and present data in comprehensive views (charts, presentations) to outline spend trends and outline areas of transformational opportunities (routing optimizations, order optimization, transport equipment use optimization, warehouse space optimization, etc).
Desirables:
- Highly skilled in MS Excel, good knowledge of MS PowerPoint, other tools could be a plus (Tableau, Python, etc)
- Overall good interpersonal skills and attitude
- Able to work autonomously
