Public Practice Recruitment specialists, Crowe Watson, are thrilled to be working alongside a local firm of Chartered Accountants in Waterlooville who are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our team as an Accountancy Practice Accounts Senior.


In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the management of a portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements, and providing advice and guidance on a range of financial matters.

You will also have the opportunity to mentor and train junior team members.


We are looking for someone with a professional accounting qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, AAT), excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Streamlining clients' business/accounting processes
  • Review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
  • Overseeing junior members of staff and monitoring their progression
  • Supporting the Partners
  • Dealing with ad hoc client/HMRC queries

Requirements:


  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Part Qualified / AAT Qualified / QBE also considered
  • Strong experience in practice, with a focus on financial statement preparation and review
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£28,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
