Description
As the Band 6 Staff Counsellor you will be jointly responsible in the continuing provision and maintenance of workplace counselling service available to all Trust staff and any external clients who purchase this service, and continually look for new and innovative ways of improving the service delivery and the patient's experience.
As a BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) Accredited, accountable and autonomous therapist you will be responsible for the organizing and management of the clients assessment, planning and provision of the appropriate course of therapy and to evaluate the effectiveness of the therapy provided.
You will manage your own case load, act in the best interests of your clients at all times and take personal and professional responsibility for your actions and decisions.
You will offer early intervention to staff who are in need of counselling support.This will be delivered in a timely manner as detailed within the departments service level agreements and key performance indicators.
