The Future Games/Kidz Zone Club have an opportunity for an Senior Sports Coach / Activity Club Manager to join it's team working at a school in Bicester.


We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children leading active and fun sessions that will INSPIRE, NURTURE, and ENGAGE.

You will benefit from an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience delivering a wide range of 'active' childcare activities; working with children from ages Activities to organise and deliver include sports, arts, crafts, free play, construction, board games and lots more


This is a demanding but very rewarding role which could kick-start a professional career in the education, childcare or activity delivery sector.

The role is ideally suited to someone with experience of working/caring for children either in a voluntary or employed basis.

You will benefit from an extremely varied role - undertaking the following roles and responsibilities.


TERM TIME HOURS
Breakfast club 7.30am - 9.00am

Lunchtime leadership 11.30am - 1.30pm

After school club 3.00pm - 6.00pm

Daily planning / shop - 1 hour per day

37.5 hours per week


SCHOOL HOLIDAY HOURS
Beteween 8am and 5.30pm (anything over 37.5 hours paid as overtime)


DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage club on a day to day basis in keeping with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage lunchtime team and deliver activities
  • Deliver / coordinate the activities in keeping with weekly timetable (planning and resources are provided)
  • Preparing snacks and drinks.
  • Complete general administration responsibilities daily risk assessments, registers.
  • Adhere to employers and placement organisations Health and Safety, Child Protection and Equalities policies.
  • Complete various training courses.
  • Purchasing food / resources for club.
  • Safeguarding and ensuring the health and safety of children, clients, and your team.
  • Managing club assistants and maintaining a positive team culture and fun childfriendly atmosphere

  • The ability to initiate and lead exciting and inspiring activities to engage children
  • Passionate about working with children.
  • Passionate about children having fun in a safe, active environment.
  • Kind, caring and patient.
  • Good communication skills and ability to relate to other people.
  • Ability to engage young people positively.
  • To be able to adapt to different challenges in a positive way.

Job Types:

Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
