SENCO

An 'Outstanding' graded Primary School in the Borough of Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a SENCO for a January start.

This is a long-term, full-time post with a view to becoming permanent in September.

The previous post holder has decided she wanted a new challenge and has moved on.

She has left a fantastic framework in place for the next person to come in and hit the ground running.

Working as a SENCO in a mainstream Primary School. You will also be required to partake in class supply cover (Preferably

- however this can be discussed at interview stage).

Carry out normal Primary SENCO duties
Including working through EHCPS, 1:1 Assessments of the children and assisting the admin side of the role
You will get the opportunity to carry out 1:1 sessions and small groups

- £ £48055 per year (dependent on experience).

Personal Specification

National SENCO qualification is desirable, but not essential
Experience working as a Inclusion Leader is also preferable
Excellent understanding of the SEN Code of Practice & Primary Curriculum
Ability to communicate well & excellent management skills
Down to earth, passionate & empathetic individual
