Description
As part of a small team, we are seeking an individual for the role of Production Supervisor who, as well as having a hands on role in the production process, will be responsible for the overall production output, factory workspace and supervision of other production staff.
Role:
As well as day to day production work, the individual will:
- Ensure that all production processes are smoothly implemented and be responsible for all order output.
- Be responsible for the implementation of Quality Control procedures for both incoming and outgoing goods.
- Maintain, and promote to the production team, company policies and procedures for the Production area as defined in the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure that Health and Safety policies and procedures are being adhered to at all times.
- Have weekly meetings with other areas of the business to communicate the current production status and to plan for the week ahead in order to satisfy customer requirements.
- Be able to identify, develop and deliver operational improvements and efficiencies and manage change.
- Ensure the smooth running & efficiency of machinery, including proactive repair schedules.
- Control levels and accuracy of waste & waste recording.
To monitor and maintain the hygiene of the production area and production staff to ensure that they are at the highest standards.
Individual:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Be able to identify and help solve problems with strong planning / analytical skills,
- Excellent numerical skills,
- Be self motivated and have a positive approach to work,
Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
