Elmore Court is an award-winning wedding and events venue in Gloucestershire with a family history going back nearly 750 years.

Its current owners have transformed the house into a place for celebrations and festivities, that has a wonderful contrast between genuine heritage and cutting-edge contemporary design.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist our Kitchen & Front of House team in helping keep the facilities clean, support the bar team, assist with furniture portering and particularly washing all crockery & glassware on event days.

The ideal applicant will have a strong work ethic, be willing to learn and want to help us provide outstanding customer service as part of a great team.

This is a role with regular shift patterns of 8pm - 2am, usually between Wednesday to Sunday.

Roles and responsibilities of this role include:

Through events assisting the front-of-house team in managing the clearing station and washing all crockery, glassware to an impeccable standard. the FOH Team with support they need on the event.
Replenishing stock clearing tables, and keeping the public areas clean and tidy.
Cleaning, moving and setting up tables and chairs for events as required.
Helping maintain all crockery, glassware and reporting any defects to the F&B manager.
Communicating effectively with the manager on the day and other members of the team to ensure all guests needs are met

Requirements of this role are as follows:

The ability to work well within a team
Having the ability to work in a fastpaced and busy environment
Flexibility to work late and weekends as required
Must be strong and fit enough to move tables and be on your feet for long periods
We are in a rural position so your own transport is required
