Description

Aspire is a city-wide service offering support to people, including those who are at risk of experiencing voices, visions, extreme suspiciousness, and other severe mental health difficulties to a degree that would meet the criteria for psychosis.

The ARMS pathway supports people aged 14-35 for up to two years.

We are a recovery focussed multi-disciplinary team, and in the wider team this which includes ARMS and EI practitioners from different professional and non-professional backgrounds, psychological practitioners/therapists, medics, recovery workers and specialist employment, housing and physical health workers.

The team uses trauma informed approaches that are supported with weekly access to psychological supervision from the teams therapists.

We are an assertive service and all members of the team work creatively and assertively to engage clients and their families/networks with the support available to them.
