We have an interesting, incredibly varied opportunity for a HR Advisor to join the iTeam, providing a range of generalist HR advice and support to our Dental members.


Job Purpose:


Working with and supporting the Divisional Warehouse Manager and other team members so that all tasks are completed in a timely manner, throughout the day.


You will be responsible for:


Tasks can include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring priority tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • The labelling of sample bottles, contact and settle plates.
  • Preparation of Acid
  • Printing of DPD labels
  • Printing and checking of manifests (before dispatch)
  • Unpack orange boxes and receive samples onto AIS LIMS
  • Ensuring ice packs are readily available for Orange Box's
  • Mixing, packing and dispatch of test soils.
  • Printing of test soil paperwork
  • Ensure relevant spreadsheets are kept up to date.
  • Tracking of Orange Boxes in and out of Stores
  • Packing Orange Box's (after initial check against manifest)
  • The maintenance of a clean and tidy workplace
  • Test Soli Room
  • Packing/ Dispatch Benches
  • Removal of cardboard/ rubbish from stores area
  • Sweeping & Mopping
  • Booking in received stock items.
  • Stock Takes/ Rotation of stock.
  • Making up of PPE Kits
  • Orange Box suitability checks
  • Cleaning/ wiping down of Orange Boxes
  • Have due regard for the job descriptions, responsibilities, and authority of other staff.
  • Establish effective, professional, positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Be responsible for personal and team's health and safety at work.
  • To make the Stores Supervisor aware of personal, professional development needs.
  • Report any concerns to the Stores Supervisor.
  • Handle confidential information with due care and maintain confidentiality.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working within a stores/ dispatch related role.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Information
This is a full-time role based in Sheffield.

Job type:
Full-time, permanent, some out of hour's work may be required from time to time.
