SUPPORT PLANNER, HOMELESS FAMILIES, NOTTINGHAM, PERMANENT, 37 HPW,

FRWK06 £21,153 - £23,430




SHIFTS:
MONDAY - FRIDAY ALTERNATE WEEKLY 8 AM - 4 PM AND 10 AM - 6 PM (FRIDAYS 8.00 AM PM AND 10.30 AM PM)


  • The service will work closely with the Local Authority to reduce the use of B&B accommodation for these often vulnerable families. We are looking for experienced workers who respond well to a fastpaced service and like a challenge.
  • Referrals will come from Nottingham City Council's Housing Aid service and families will be accommodated for approximately 10 weeks. Support will focus on addressing immediate and shortterm support needs and resettlement to more permanent accommodation. Housing management and a focus on moveon will form the majority of the tasks. The safety and wellbeing of families with children is paramount. There will be a high turnover and the accommodation will need to be made ready in a short time span.
***The main functions of this role are;

  • Positively promote the work of Framework and the new service
  • Create a support plan with the family members
  • Provide a housing management function, collect both eligible and ineligible rent, manage occupancy agreements, void and locality management
  • Ensure that the accommodation provided is both safe and healthy
  • Develop good professional relationships and networks of support relevant to the client group
  • Liaise with the local authority about move on options
  • Review support plans and risk assessments
  • Understand and act on both child and adult safeguarding issues
  • Full driving licence and access to the car is required to travel to dispersed properties.
