Welin Lambie Ltd is a leading UK based designer, manufacturer and service provider of Davits, winches and lifting appliances for the global marine and offshore industry.

Founded in 1901, but welcomed into the Fairbanks Morse Defense family in 2021, Welin Lambie has proudly played its part in supporting the UK economy and UK supply chain by exporting up to 90% of its products.


The engineering excellence caught the attention of defense contractor Fairbanks Morse Defense which led to the acquisition of Welin Lambie 2021.

Today, they stand strong within the FMD family, solidly representing their international arm of the business beyond solely davits.


Responsibilities:


  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure the best prices and terms.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Analyse market trends and pricing strategies.
  • Evaluate supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Salary:
£42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
