Office Angels are looking for an experienced temp Accountant to act as a Payroll Officer that will provide accurate, timely and efficient payroll services to the Payroll department and team.

St Katherine Dock | Mon - Thurs 9am to 5pm | Salary is up to £20ph plus exclusive OA benefits

Must be immediately available to start this position | Temporary until the end of April 2023


Duties of the role:


  • Accurately input data into the Payroll system to ensure that appropriate employee details are correctly set up and calculated
  • Dealing with pension and finance reports
  • Regularly input adhoc payroll adjustments (e.g. union deductions, season ticket loans, pay claims) by required deadlines
  • Complete month end processing including posting journal into finance system and balance sheet reconciliation

Requirements for role:


  • Understanding of payroll legislation and experienced in running payrolls
  • Dealing with pension and finance reports
  • Basic knowledge of pay and conditions
  • Computer literate especially confidence in using Excel (Intermediate or Advance Level in Excel desirable)
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and multitasking
