Full Time
Permanent position

Polar Systems is one of Norfolk's largest engineering firms which handles large and small projects nationally and internationally. Producing in house a wide variety of food processing machinery from its 80,000 sqft factory in Kings Lynn.

The role will include:

Using engineering drawings fabricate machinery.
Working on a wide variety of projects.
Training on any unfamiliar machines.
Regular workbased training.
Ability to weld and fabricate Stainless Steel food processing machinery to a high standard
Work well in a small team
Able to make decisions
High level of communication skills
Ability to solve problems on site and in the workshop
Desire to maintain a high standard of skills and craftsmanship
Able to read engineering drawings
Willing to work overtime

Advance level apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering biased to Welding and Fabrication.
- _A weld test and sample piece produced from a supplied drawing will be required at the point of interview_

Salary:
£17 per hour

25 Days Holiday

Overtime upto 1.7 times Double time for Sundays
