Housekeeping Supervisor

Your role as a Housekeeping Supervisor.

Ensuring all rooms clean and inspected up to Hart Shoreditch standards
Ensure that the correct uniform is worn by staff before issuing keys
Report for work on time
Organise day to day work requirements and set required standards against which work will be checked
Present and manage bedroom floors and public areas to high standards
Supervise and train staff to deliver and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all bedrooms and public areas whilst adhering to Health and Safety Regulations.
Deliver accurate and effective handover to evening and fellow housekeepers.
Check all equipment, furniture and furnishings are maintained, and kept in good working order and report all relevant faults.
Delegate priority request and schedule the checking of priority rooms to ensure we deliver the rooms on time.
In conjunction with the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Housekeeping Manager ensure that all periodic cleaning is carried out.
Work closely with the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Housekeeping Manager and liaise with relevant department, in a timely fashion, to ensure that the guests' expectations are consistently met and where possible exceeded.
Manage special request, complaints or feedback from guests or a member of management and ensure they are dealt with in a timely and costeffective manner,
To complete administrative tasks specific to housekeeping.
Check occupied rooms; ensuring all guest supplies are replenished and that presentation and cleanliness reach the standard set by Hart Shoreditch Hotel.
Ensure all OOO and OOS rooms checked daily and covered
Ensure all maintenance issues reported immediately
Ensure all H&S issues reported immediately

A bit about you.

Previous experience in Housekeeping within the hotel industry is required
Previous experience with OnQ PMS system is preferred
High level of IT proficiency
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Accountable and resilient
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Ability to work under pressure
Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
