Redditch

Salary - £33,400-£41,800 per annum - depending on skills and experience

Contract type - Permanent

Working hours - Full Time (37 hours per week)

About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Co-operative Housing Officer based in Redditch on a Full-time basis.


The Housing Officer will be responsible for liaising closely with Co-operative Committees and other internal departments to ensure services are delivered without the barriers associated with silo working.

You will be monitoring and managing debt recovery and possession action in accordance with Co-op Policy and Procedures.


The Housing Officer role will include Tenancy management through the enforcement of breaches of tenancy, including the management of anti-social behaviour promoting the Co-operative Living Policy and Procedure.

You will Provide information, advice and guidance to all tenures, but specifically Co-op members. This will include servicing Co-op Committees (new and existing) helping them to develop and grow, providing training as appropriate.

About you
You will have a good general or technical education beyond GCSE e.g. 2 or more A- Levels/NVQ3 or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level.

Knowledge and experience of housing and tenancy law; including arrears, succession, mutual exchange, assignments and ending tenancies. This will also include experience of leasehold management and enforcement is desirable for this role.

You will have a background or experience within Housing. Preferably Knowledge of Housing Cooperative.


Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role. Without this evidence, you would be unable to commence employment at GreenSquareAccord.
