Salary:
£19,000 - £21,000 per annum

We currently have a new and exciting vacancy as a Trainee Diamond Turning Engineer for a well-established client based in Stevenage.


Days:
Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm (30-minute lunch and breaks throughout the day)

The main purpose of the Trainee Single Point Diamond Turning Engineer is to set up and operate single point diamond turning machinery, and complete tasks as allocated by your line manager, to the required standard.

What will you be doing as a Trainee Diamond Turning Engineer?


Maintaining a 'hands-on' role including but not limited to: Setting up SPDT machines and operating them in line with technical drawing specifications and under supervision when necessary.


  • Machine and tool maintenance and product inspection form an integral part of the job.
  • Some written process reporting may be required
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy.
  • Be aware of, and ensure you are meeting your responsibilities in accordance with company procedures, health and safety regulations, and the Staff Handbook.
  • Understand the need for confidentiality when dealing with both internal and external information.
  • Flexibility to travel to all Company sites within UK.
  • Flexibility to work outside or in excess of standard hours when necessary to achieve objectives required.
  • Sound knowledge of the company's service offering specific to role.
