Essity's production sites in the North West are key players when it comes to manufacturing many of our branded tissue-based household products such as Cushelle and Plenty.
As the Papermaking Maintenance Planner, as well as having the challenge of meeting papermaking objectives across 2 sites in Manchester and Tawd (Skelmersdale), we want to encourage you to make decisions through collaborative working to ensure improvements for the business.
This is a role in which you will need to really get stuck-in with looking at the data and ways of working, recommending improvements and working to implement them effectively.

What You Will Do
To be successful you will need to work collaboratively with production teams to ensure efficient planning sequencing in conjunction with resource and maintenance plans; liaising regularly with the leadership team to evaluate any risks to supply.
In addition, our focus is on Planning Excellence, and you will not only maintain the master data, but you will be naturally curious on analysing the data and actively questioning any concerns as they arise.
Who You Are
We're looking for a committed and focused individual who will enjoy interpreting forecast data and formulating efficient weekly plans, to ensure excellence in both supply and inventory levels.
As well as having a high level of planning and analytical skills, it is key that you are hungry to learn all aspects of the planning process and that you are able to work within a changing environment.
What's more, we want you to show the determination and enthusiasm to look beyond the 'here and now' and use your experience and knowledge to challenge and drive any necessary changes.
With excellent communication skills, you will have the ability to present to and influence key stakeholders, developing effective relationships.You will also have the ability to work on your own initiative, make sound business decisions, and to work on multiple issues simultaneously - maintaining composure and focus.
- Supply chain
- Experience in SAP (Essential)
- Relevant experience planning, scheduling and auditing maintenance activities either as a handson engineer/technician or as a maintenance planner
- Thorough understanding of asset operations, process equipment and technology
- In depth knowledge of plant operations
