About the Company:
My client are a Global Healthcare group. They develop, manufacture and supply a range of Pharmaceuticals, Biologics, Medical Devices and Diagnostics Globally. They have a presence in Ireland with multiple manufacturing operations and commercial offices.

Due to success and expansion plans at their Biologics facility in Ireland, they are hiring several new QC Microbiologists positions to support their success and growth.


About the Positions:

Reporting into the QC team lead and working as part of the QC department, there are several roles available on both a Permanent and 12 Month Contract basis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • To perform Microbiology testing across stability, finished product / substance, routine, inprocess, and raw material testing
  • To lead environmental investigations, root cause analysis and report close out
  • Represent the lab globally and work with external contractors and vendors
  • To participate in audits and ensure the site is inspection ready at all times
  • To provide Microbiological support and expertise across the site
    Experience/Requirements:
  • A BSc / MSc / PhD in Science or related years Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry experience in a Microbiology lab setting
  • Hands on Microbiology testing experience
  • Environmental Monitoring, Bioburden, Endotoxin
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a busy team environment and work cross functionally with other departments
  • Eligible to live and work in Ireland

The 12 month contract roles offer competitive contracting rates.
