***Our client has 30 years experience working in the Environmental Consultancy sector, working on Air quality, Noise, Flood risk and European Policy. They are a large team of highly qualified consultants working across the UK and Europe who have just become certified as a climate neutral company.
About the role;
Our client is looking to add a Flood risk and Drainage Consultant with 5-7 years' experience preparing FRAs and drainage strategies to join their team.
Skills and experience we are looking for;
- Ability to recognise and communicate flooding and drainage related constraints and opportunities
- Experience producing and reviewing a wide range of FRAs and drainage strategies.
- Good knowledge and experience of MicroDrainage.
- Good knowledge of the planning system, in particular flood related policy and guidance such as the NPPF and SuDS Manual.
- Awareness of financial control and project management.
- Good project management and communication skills in a client facing role.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Ability to supervise and motivate others.
- Knowledge of Tuflow, Flood Modeller Pro, FEH or River restoration would be beneficial.
