Applications are invited for the post of Physics Access Officer

The post is available initially for a fixed-term duration of 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

This post is part time working at 18.75 hours per week


This is a challenging post offering the opportunity to lead a strategic access programme, targeting under-represented groups, in the context of wider university and national policies and planning.

A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required due to undertaking regulated activity involving children.

Applicants should have a good first degree in Physics, Engineering or Maths.

Previous experience of engaging young people (age with physics concepts, in particular those that involve problem solving skills or conceptual ideas, is essential.
