The Role:
Due to high demand Samson Insurance Services are recruiting for a position for an experienced Account Handler to join a small but well-established and growing independent insurance brokerage in Watford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the sales effort regarding client/prospect needs analysis, competitor analysis, pitch preparation.
- Providing new business quotations.
- Taking instructions from new and existing clients, being accountable for carrying out the full policy cycle, from first inception through to renewals, rebroking and MTAs.
- Checking thoroughly all client documentation before despatch, ensuring queries are raised and amendments completed.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
To be considered for an Account Handler role you must have relevant insurance broking experience and be able to work quickly within a system, efficiently and to a high level of accuracy.
- An aptitude for sales and placing new business is highly desired.
- Experience with Acturis is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of the insurance broking landscape.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant insurance products and regulation.
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages.
