Are you an autonomous practitioner with skills in providing nutrition and dietetic support and advice to patients with eating disorders? Does a role of supporting patients, carers and health professionals working in the field of eating disorders interest you? If so, there may be an exciting opportunity working for the severe eating disorder consultation and assessment service (SEDCAS).

We are looking for a person who can:

To work as a senior autonomous practitioner in a variety of settings including lone working within patients homes, as well as other community settings and inpatient.
To provide specialist dietetic support and advice to patients and carers suffering from eating disorders.
To deliver dietitian led sessions for SEDCAS patients with an eating disorder in outpatients, inpatients and recovery units.
To undertake comprehensive patient assessment, dietary review and nutritional assessment (including consideration of diagnoses, anthropometry, biochemistry, pharmacology and medical history) of highly complex patients, and set a plan of care which integrates with the MDT plan of care for treatment.
To determine an appropriate package of dietetic intervention in line with departmental guidelines and MDT care pathways, using clinical judgment for each individual patient.
