**Role Overview
**As a Registered Nurse you will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care to the patient undergoing imaging diagnostic and/or treatment procedures.
The post-holder will provide clinical advice and support to staff. They will assist with the continued development of the department, including strategies for the advancement of services.
**Role
**- Co-ordinate department and staff activities as required

  • Delivery and management of direct nursing care
  • Ensuring a commitment to patient centred care
  • Working with agreed nursing standards
  • Being accountable for nursing outcomes
  • Enhancing the quality of care by assisting with the management of change in nursing practice based on evidence/research
  • Ensure the correct storage and administration of medications in accordance with the hospital policies and NMC Standards for Medicine
  • Practice multidisciplinary team care and contribute actively towards its successful management.
  • Act always as the patient advocate.
  • Work in accordance with the Nursing Strategy to meet the Hospital and Nursing objectives.
