Now in their 16th year, Portsmouth based Bladez Toyz continue to create innovative toys across categories from radio control to creative play and a growing portfolio of licensed brands including Hot Wheels, Barbie, Harry Potter, DC Comics and Minecraft.
Opportunity
Bladez Toyz are currently looking for an experienced National Account Executive looking for the next step in their career. The role will involve working directly with the Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) to create and implement sales plans for Bladez Toyz existing customers, plus looking for new business opportunities for growth
Salary:
Competitive based on experience, plus bonus options
Location:
Portsmouth, UK. Ideally office based but will consider remote working with set days in the office
- You must have previous experience within key account sales role for a toy company or similar.
- Experience working with Amazon is essential.
- Excellent teamwork, organisation, and process management skills are essential
- Confident Excel and PowerPoint user
- Knowledge of FOB process an advantage but not essential
- Ability to quickly assimilate information / Forward planning / ability to prioritise.
- Flexible / adaptable / efficient / Good problem solver.
- Thinking outside the box / creative thinker.
Main duties will include:
- Manage, service and develop Key Accounts, including The Range, B&M, Home Bargains, Bargain Max, Studio, Rymans, Fraser Group and Toymaster.
- Day to day administration of Amazon account through both VC and SC including loading new lines, raising case logs, updating content etc.
- Completion of new line forms, admin checks etc as required by customers.
- Business development activities (New Accounts) where applicable based on yearly objectives.
- Build effective working relationships with key retailers and decision makers and have regular meetings in place to maximise sales.
- Effectively forecast by account for SS and AW seasons.
- Range planning with accounts using account plan templates on current ranges, also including forward planning with the introduction of new ranges at key selling periods.
- Raise customer quotations and work pricing through either landing FOB costs to realise customer margin or domestic costs for UK sales with support from SNAM
- Effective business planning, generating a yearly document for key strategic accounts.
- Liaise with key departments to ensure on time deliveries for all retailers.
- Analysis of retailer sales data to ensure regular stock for key lines and also action any slow performing lines in the business, with support from SNAM
- Gain retailer appointments for key selling periods and represent the company at Trade Shows throughout the year
