We are currently recruiting for several Warehouse Operatives. Cummins will provide full training.

This is a temporary 3-month Fixed Term Contract.

Salary is £24, £12.40ph) plus shift premium for working the afternoon shift.

Will need to be fully flexible to work across the following shift patterns:


  • Days: 6.45am 2.45pm
  • Afternoons: 3.00pm pm
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Under some supervision you will follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.
  • Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
  • Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.
  • Follows all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation and established quality procedures.
  • Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Warehouse Operations
  • Utilizes warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.
  • Receive / Pick / Pack / Ship a variation of Cummins product.
  • Good written/oral communications skills. Works well within a team
  • Operate within several business unit teams.
  • Full training will be provided.
