QC Analyst Microbiology

12-month contract

£18.33 per hour

Liverpool, Speke

Shifts hour shifts, 6am-8am start, 4 on and 4 off


Cpl Life Sciences are partnering with a global pharmaceutical company that focusses on vaccines, the purpose of the QC Microbiology Analyst is to perform QC laboratory testing, data review and data interpretation on in-process, intermediate and finishesvaccine products.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Perform QC laboratory testing and communicate all findings
  • Perform Microbiology tests
  • Investigate of any invalid, OOS/ OOT results within the GLIMS system
  • Support with technical and validation studies
  • Manage deviations and communicate with QA
  • Manage CAPAs, Change Control
  • Update SOPs
  • Perform quality risk assessments
  • Perform laboratory administrations, archiving of documentation
  • Manage QC samples
  • Laboratory maintenance, including cleaning, ordering and ensuring stock required is available
  • Perform QC laboratory tests on inprocess, intermediate and finished vaccine products
Experience/ qualifications;

  • Microbiology degree OR Experience working in a microbiology lab
  • Understanding of equipment and method validation
  • Experience with deviations, CAPA
  • Have experience in QC testing techniques
