Fostering Support Worker - Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Salary details:
£24,496 - £26,845
& excellent benefits (pay award pending)**
Full time, 37 hours per week, Permanent

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY


Rotherham is aiming to become a child-centred borough with a forward thinking authority that believes in achieving high standards for its current citizens and the citizens of the future.

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is investing significantly in its well-established Fostering Service in order to increase the number of foster carers and to achieve the best outcomes for our looked after children.


The ideal person will be equipped with the necessary skills to deliver a range of tasks necessary for the support of the fostering service and provide safe, secure and stable placements to our children and young people.

You will have good recording skills and have excellent communication skills to work with people across the service, including foster carers, social workers, and the placements team.


If you are interested and have experience working within fostering or with looked after children, this could be the ideal role for you.
