Market and Client Insights (MCI) is a corporate function serving all Willis Towers Watson geographies, segments and corporate functions.Our mission is to provide research and insights regarding markets, clients, prospects, industries and competitors todrive revenue growth through more effective sales, marketing, and innovation.
The team provides a range of services from information access and delivery (utilizing a number of 3rd-party research subscriptions and WTW proprietary research and data) to primaryand secondary research for more complex requests requiring multiple sources and potentially multiple methodologies.
Key deliverables include market assessments, company and industry profiles, competitor and competitive analyses, market trend reports, and prospectlists.The Role
- Work with MCI colleagues to deliver the client satisfaction programme and primary research workstreams, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and strategic insight
- Build and maintain a strong internal network, developing ongoing, consultative relationships with key stakeholders, partnering with them to extract maximum value from C-Sat / Primary Research outputs
- Take a lead role in proactively establishing new use cases for C-Sat data, helping to evolve our analysis and reporting outputs to become more strategically useful
- Understand and support the endtoend research execution process, from briefing to reporting of results, providing operational cover as and when required
- Support and coach MCI colleagues involved in the delivery of Primary Research, identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise the work we do
- Collaborate with MCI colleagues to form connections, where relevant, between primary and secondary research and between primary research and C-Sat
- Support the wider MCI team in the development of its strategic insight capability, helping to ensure our work is valued and drives change
- Be a champion of MCI's work, promoting the full range of MCI services and capabilities
- Coach and mentor colleagues, directly and indirectly; work with researchers of varied levels and skillsets to deliver projects
The Requirements
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence upwards
- Excellent communication skills, able to build clear insight stories from complex datasets
- Strategic thinker, able to see the big picture, and comfortable using data and insight to make recommendations
- Selfstarter capable of proactive investigation and analysis
- Analytical mindset, adept at translating data into actionable insight and relaying that to stakeholders
- B2B research experience would be preferred and/or experience of working in a financial services environment
- Willing to work outside office hours as required to schedule calls to accommodate a range of timezones
