Responsibilities

  • To manage Line Leaders assigned and ensure the operation runs smoothly and efficiently in it's entirety
  • To ensure any unplanned absences are dealt with timely and reported as required
  • To have a solid understanding of the company absence procedure and manage all personnel in line with this
  • To ensure the conduct and performance of all personnel is managed consistently and in line with company policies and procedures including reviews.
  • Supervising staff to ensure that daily work is carried out in line with company procedures and standards.
  • To support the Production Manager in monitoring the performance of the Line Operation
  • Know your team ensuring New Starters are welcomed and assigned a buddy.
  • Communicate with the Production Manager and Logistics Manager prior to and at the end of shift to go over daily plans and results.
  • Liaise with QA regarding quality standards and ensure all team members are aware and receive training if required.
  • Support the Production Manager and Logistics Manager to monitor and control the use of resource in a cost effective manner.
  • Support in the allocation of daily workload to team members to ensure all schedules are achieved.
  • Ensure information is recorded correctly on daily sheets and highlight any issues to the team.
  • Support with the organisation and maintenance of inventory and storage areas in line with current best practices
  • Identify areas of improvement and work with senior managers and the client to adjust existing work procedures and practices ensuring SMART methodology is utilised
  • Ensure all communications are accurate and specific to job requirements
  • Clearly communicate job expectations to all staff under your supervision and monitor, coach and motivate your team within current practices
  • Support senior management in issues relating to Policy and HR adherence amongst team.
  • Ensure clean as you go policy is adhered to.
  • To participate fully in the Company's Personal Performance and Development process and to undertake training and development relevant to your job.
  • To contribute to the development of a respectful and mutually supportive working environment in accordance with our values.
  • Support the team to monitor and control the use of resource in a costeffective manner.
  • Encourage team members to develop and learn, ensuring the team are trained in respective areas to enhance the flexibility of the company.
