Job Summary:
The Maintenance Administrator will provide administrative support to the maintenance
department across our 9 care homes, assisting with various tasks to ensure efficient
operation and upkeep of facilities. This role involves coordinating maintenance requests,
scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and assisting with inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and log maintenance requests from staff and residents, ensuring accuracy
- Coordinate scheduling of maintenance tasks and appointments with internal staff and
- Maintain electronic and paper records of maintenance activities, including work
- Assist in the preparation of maintenance budgets, tracking expenses, and monitoring
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes, place orders, and track
- Generate reports on maintenance activities, including work completed, outstanding
- Respond to inquiries and requests for information from staff, residents, and external
- Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and
- Provide administrative support to the maintenance team, including photocopying,
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance-related activities and
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in administration
- Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a maintenance or
management systems.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, residents, and
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of maintenance processes and terminology is desirable but not essential.

Pay:
£24,500.00 per year
