My client is a leading international law firm highly renowned for their outstanding litigation practice, they are now looking for a flexible and pro-active HR Advisor to join their fast-paced London office on a permanent basis.
The main responsibilities for the HR Advisor will be to provide generalist HR support to the Business Services and Dispute Resolution divisions while helping drive major HR processes in the UK, and where applicable, globally.
The key duties will include:
- Proactively managing absence through monitoring absence levels, dealing with long and shortterm sickness absence.
- Monitoring the HR Helpdesk inbox and supporting the HR Assistants in resolving queries.
- Running the end of probation review process attending meetings, addressing any issues, making recommendations and ensuring all paperwork is returned.
- Responsible for drafting complex correspondence such as unique contracts or complex flexible working responses, disciplinary and grievance and performance management matters.
- Playing a key role in the management of annual HR processes including the coordination and preparation of materials for appraisals, promotions, salary review and bonuses.
- Helping to facilitate the talent management and succession planning process, alongside the HR Managers by producing, maintaining and collating the relevant information.
- Dealing with adhoc HR issues as they arise, providing advice and mediation on employee relations issues.
