Description

We are currently looking for a Bioinformatic Technical Support Engineer to join a leading Digital Health company based in the Cambridgeshire area.

As the Bioinformatic Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing support to existingglobal customers by way of technical resolutions and product guidance.

You will lead technical calls with customers while troubleshooting issues and collaborate with internal teams to find technical resolutions.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Bioinformatic Technical Support Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Lead technical calls with Customers, explaining and translating technical information.
  • Create JIRA tickets to describe bugs for escalation to the development team, ensuring resolution within specified time-scales.
  • Act as one of the primary points of contact for technical customer support issues.
  • Capture feedback on performance and customer satisfaction to facilitate the continuous improvement of products.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSc in field relating to Biology, Genetics/Genomics or Molecular Biology.
  • Experience using Python.
  • Knowledge of Genetics/Genomics.
