The role:
Trainee/Graduate Client Executive

  • You will work within a highly skilled team of Client Executives that specialise in managing a portfolio of existing Construction accounts

What can you expect?

  • Provide support to both the Client Executive and Broker and management of the placement process (new business and renewals).
  • As well as technical and administrative support, you will also be expected to build relationships with clients, intermediaries and markets, in order to ensure the timely and accurate processing of placements and comprehensive servicing.
  • Exposure to the London markets most complex insurance placements
  • Industry focused insurance and technical training from the markets leading insurance professionals.

We will rely on you to:

  • Support Client Executives by compiling underwriting information.
  • Ensure that policy documentation and invoices are sent to clients in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Liaise with London Brokers within the Construction team to provide information and answer queries.
  • Attend client calls and facetoface meetings.
  • Review contract wording and liaise with Lawyers.
  • Upskill and train on a number of Marsh systems.

What you need to have:


  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to deal with a busy and demanding workload.
  • Confidence to be an articulate verbal and written communicator.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Quick to take onboard new information which is technical in nature.
  • Solid relationship building skills and happy to liaise at all levels.
  • A genuine desire to build a career within the Insurance sector.

What makes you stand out:


  • Previous insurance experience, ideally within Construction.
  • Experience within a similar support role.
