bespoke packages to clients in their own homes and our support team help build our ethos by promoting client's independence and offering them community-based and or rehabilitation support.


We are looking to recruit
passionate & enthusiastic support workers to join Team Steps and become part of what we believe to be, something incredibly rewarding and person centred.

This specific role is supporting a
male with an
acquired brain injury in
Newton Abbot.

The client has previously served in the Military and enjoys having banter with his support workers.


He is an avid football fan who is keen to get out and about in the community to partake in his rehabilitation process.

Hours Available:

Long Days - 08:00 - 22:00

Sleeps - 22:00 - 8:00


Responsibilities will include:

Assistance with Personal Care

Support with community access

Some domestic tasks

General support around the house

Following the clients tailored rehabilitation programme

Preparing medication

Manual handling

Meal preparation


Requirements for the position:

Full clean driving licence is required

A minimum of 6 months' health and social care experience is required for this role.

Experience with Acquired Brain Injuries preferred
