We're looking for a dynamic self-starter who will help shape the Ethiopian Airlines Media Sales Team within the company by supporting clients to reach out to airlines travellers and help with their marketing campaigns.

Ink is looking for a Media Sales Specialist with sales experience, offering suitable advertising campaigns and helping businesses grow, for our vibrant office in West Hampstead.


Working closely with SVP Sales, as a Media Sales Specialist you will be offering and selling exciting media solutions, all around Ethiopian Airlines and Addis Ababa Airport.

The offerings vary from traditional print magazines, to TV, OOH, DOOH and very exciting sponsorship opportunities.

Your primary responsibility is to generate revenue and pinpoint selling opportunities to meet long-term customer goals.

Responsibilities for a Media Sales Specialist

  • Selling advertising in the inflight magazine, Airport TV, IFE, OOH, DOOH, digital retargeting, and other exciting opportunities for the Number 1 Airline in Africa
  • Lead on sourcing, investigation and finding new customers and sectors which have commercial opportunity and identifying key decision makers of the business
  • Cold Calling
  • Creating sales meetings and pitch via telephone or video conferencing.
  • Demonstrating and offer advertising solutions which are truly helping the advertising clients with their marketing and business goals.
  • Undertaking occasional travel to meet clients overseas.
  • Following daily routines and the sales process.
  • Demonstrating high levels of selfmotivation

Qualifications for Media Sales Specialist

  • 24 years of B2B sales experience, media sales strongly preferred.
  • Proven Track Record in sales, can demonstrate that they can follow a sales process.
  • Experience working with bigger brands, preferably sales experience within the African market.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships.
  • Accountability and the drive to grow is essential.
  • Seeking feedback and accepts support.
  • Curiosity and the ability to tell a story is a must.
  • Someone who wants to improve their life.
  • Positive and optimistic attitude.
