Description
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY To manage the Estates & Facilities waste assurance processes. To complete waste audits of clinical teams trust wide using the relevant auditing software.

To provide initial feedback verbally and then To complete waste audits of the waste holds and waste disposal points trust wide using the relevant auditing software.

To ensure there is a consistent approach to the process and scoring with any waste assurance / compliance monitoring process.

To manage the Waste Assurance Officer, ensuring they are motivated to achieve their performance targets. To accurately and fully complete any documentation that is required. To utilise any software systems in operation to collect, record, organise and communicate data obtained. To produce a regular overall summary performance report that accurately reflects good and bad aspects of the service.


To produce any performance indicator documentation on time as agreed with the Associate Director, Estate Risk and Compliance or nominated deputy.

To maintain a professional approach, that encourages and does not cause conflict during the monitoring process, with any member of the Trust To ensure excellent customer relations with patients, CSU teams, etc.

that portrays the department performance in a good light. To attend formal meetings with Senior Management to provide recommendations/feedback on current Trust strategy related to areas quality assured.
