Hours: 24 hours to be worked over 4 days (Mon to Thrs)

Salary:
Currently £13,228.80p - £13,703.04p pay banded for 24 hours per week)**
Role Outline:
  • Under the direction of the Finance & Business Support Officer, to provide high quality administrative support services for DRC and its staff team ensuring key processes are maintained in a timely and accurate way.
  • To work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, ensuring professional and proactive support is provided at all times.
  • Generic projects across the business to support DRC delivery including but not limited to, HSF, IAG and all other future projects.

Key Tasks:


  • Provide high quality business support services to internal and external customers.
  • Maintain general reception duties providing frontline customer response service and resolving basic queries.
  • Receive, sort, record and distribute incoming/outgoing post.
  • Provide an efficient meetings/room bookings support service including allocating rooms and updating the rooms booking system; setting up and breaking down rooms; providing and/or organising refreshments and catering; and ensuring audio/visual and other equipment is available as required.
  • Ensure DRC's reception, meeting and training room areas are kept clean and tidy and meet all health and safety requirements.
  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks to support taxi drivers booking on for Disability Equality and Safeguarding Training including but not limited to booking and arranging courses, booking trainers, photocopying course materials, taking payments, data input and paperwork completion.
  • Support marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Undertake a range of predefined routine administrative tasks including access audits.
  • Organise meetings and events in liaison with other relevant officers and produce outputs in a timely manner.
  • Support and document meetings (which could include sensitive information) and produce outputs in a timely manner.
  • Administer IHWC health and safety processes and safe systems of work to ensure premises and onsite activities comply with legislation.
  • Maintain current and archived filing systems, entering and retrieving information from electronic databases.
  • Support the organisation with retention and disposal of documents in line with GDPR and data protection requirements.
  • Act as one of DRC's duly appointed Fire Marshalls and First Aiders undertaking regular training as required.
  • Support the recruitment, induction, supervision and guidance of volunteers.
  • Interact sensitively, professionally and maintain confidentiality when dealing with colleagues and customers.
  • Occasionally cover for the Finance and Business Support Officer in his/her/their absence.
  • Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required and which are commensurate with the nature and grading of the post.
  • Comply with all legislative requirements, together with all DRC policies, procedures and reasonable management instructions.

The post holder may be required to work with vulnerable adults.

In line with DRC's Safeguarding Policy, an enhanced DBS check will

therefore be required.
