Legal Assistant
Location:
Remote (UK) or office based, London
Position Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate or aspiring lawyer to join a truly transformative business and develop hands-on in-house experience.

We work in three regions (Americas, Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific (APAC)), creating partnerships and collaborations to provide outstanding service and advice.
We leverage the skills and expertise of our teams and a select a handful of high-calibre complementary partners to meet and exceed expectations.
Your Day-to-Day:
- General dedicated support to Cohesive's Chief Counsel globally but with a primary focus on EMEA.
- Support special projects including report writing, research tasks, drafting, data gathering and analysis and commercial reviews.
- Manage and be responsible for building and maintaining clear and concise legal records relating to risk and contracts management.
- Balance legal and commercial risk against commercial priorities of the company.
What You Bring to The Team:
- Ideally 1-3 years relevant experience in a research, drafting or contractual review role. Prior in-house experience is a plus.
- Excellent English skills are required for this opportunity. Working knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate legal and commercial risks clearly and succinctly to senior management and stakeholders.
- An enthusiastic 'cando' attitude and willingness to learn, adapt and grow as a valued member of the Bentley legal team.
- Experience in the IT/software services and/or construction industry is a plus.
- Prior experience with government procurement and construction agreements are a plus.
