Starting from £28,000.00 per annum _(Depending on Experience and Qualification Status_)


Qualifications:


  • GCSE Maths & English at Grade C/Level 4 or above


  • AAT Level

  • Willing to work towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification

About the Role:


Due to recent growth within the business, Lloyd & Whyte Group are pleased to be looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join our Taunton based team.


The Group is constantly evolving and rapidly growing, with really exciting prospects on the horizon across the business, both imminently and over the next few years.

Within this role, you will help to support our Financial Reporting Manager to ensure the Accounts team can effectively adapt and evolve with the business, as we continue to grow with future acquisitions.


This is an extremely varied role, where no two days will be the same and will be integral to the overall function of the Group.

You will help to ensure that our insurer relationships are continually strong and work collaboratively with business units across the Group to ensure that the right things ultimately get done at the right time

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual objectives and key performance indicators as set and agreed
  • Reconciliation of insurance company accounts including liaising with insurers to reconcile queries
  • Communicating with colleagues with a view to settling any queries on premium postings
  • Distributing refunds to clients
  • Assist with administration relating to external and inhouse direct debit schemes
  • Reconciliation of system accounts against bank statements
  • Accurate processing of accounting entries into relevant systems
  • Ensure the Company accounting records are always up to date and appropriate escalation is taken
  • Work collaboratively with all colleagues to deliver an exceptional client experience
  • Ad hoc tasks as directed
  • Support colleagues from all areas of the business as required
