Dental Nursing Academy are currently expanding their team, to support our existing and growing cohort of learners working towards completing their Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing, we are looking for qualified assessor to support the growing team for observations only.

It is essential that applicants are qualified Assessors/IQA's and have the relevant occupational experience required to support the development of their allocated learners, within their workplace.

This position requires a qualified assessor to carry out observation in practice and to upload these onto our e-portfolio system.

Primary Job Role Requirements

• Developing excellent client relationships
• Supporting learners undertaking the qualification
• Observe, assess and review work.
• Completing learners in a timely manner in line with targets
• Working to awarding body requirements
• Working to quality standards
• Maintaining records
• Working closely with the operational team and Manager
• Attend regular standardisation meetings (paid for)
• Use the eportfolio system
• OneFile
• Manage a caseload of learners for observations

Mandatory requirements

• A current and valid GDC Licence or can easily access public transport
• Must be qualified assessor/would consider a trainee nearing the end of their qualification
• Competency and experience in the dental nursing industry at least 2+ years' experience as a qualified dental nurse is required.
• GSCE Grade C or above (equivalent) in English

• IT Skills

• Word, Excel, Outlook.
