Job description
- manage the end-to-end accounts payable (ap) process, including processing of invoices, managing weekly payment runs, and ensuring all payments are recorded in an accurate and timely manner whilst adhering to all contractual payment and compliance terms
- reconciling vendor statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of the accounts payable function
- drive process improvements and foster positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- oversee the accounts receivable (ar) functions, including billing, invoicing and collections to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments.
- bank reconciliations on a daily basis for all uk, european, and uae bank accounts
- administering the prepaid credit card portal, ensuring all receipts are collected and reconciled in a timely manner
- maintaining accurate accounting ledgers in xero to a very high standard
- support the fd with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual kpi's, whilst understanding variance analysis for presentation to senior stakeholders
- support the fd with the budgeting and forecasting process
- collaborate across cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate financial risks, optimise resource allocation and support stratetic initiatives
- stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices in finance and accounting, and implement relevant policies and procedures to enhance financial performance
- support the fd with the budget wrap process, liasing with project managers ensuring meetings are booked at regular intervals and to challenge costs where appropriate
- ensure finance and operational policies are adhered, whilst taking initiative to identify opportunities for process improvements
- any adhoc duties that maybe required

Salary:
£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
